Welcome to the Arlington Helping Professionals Alliance website!

Mission Statement

The Arlington Helping Professionals Alliance (AHPA) serves as a network of connection, information and referral for helping professionals in the Arlington, Massachusetts area. We offer a variety of resources, supportive services and information so that the community can easily and effectively find the type of help they are seeking.

History

The Arlington Helping Professionals Alliance was founded in January, 2002 by two Arlington-based psychotherapists, Lore Peters and Laury Rappaport, in response to the September 11, 2001 tragedy. Their idea, to provide easy access to services in times of need and to connect local professionals with one another, has blossomed into a network of practitioners treating the mind, body, and spirit.
