Balancing Body, Mind & Spirit…

Because both Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy work to balance energy on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, physical sensations or emotions may surface during the session. Sometimes people experience a sense of heat, vibration, movement or unwinding in the location of the therapist’s hands. Some may gain clarity on an issue in their life. While no two experiences are exactly alike, most find these healing sessions to be deeply relaxing and nurturing. By tuning into your own inner wisdom, healing on all levels is possible—bringing body, mind and spirit into harmony and balance.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) means universal life energy. This energy, known as chi in China, prana in India, and ki in Japan, is the life force energy that animates all living beings. When the flow of ki in our bodies is unrestricted we have health. The practice of Reiki is a gentle yet powerful healing art through which we are able to connect with the life force energy that surrounds us. Reiki energy, which flows through the hands of the Reiki practitioner, can release energy blockages and promote healing using our body’s innate wisdom.

Experiencing Reiki

Reiki is gentle and non-invasive. The recipient remains fully clothed throughout the session as the Reiki therapist places her hands on or near parts of the body needing attention.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system—a physiological body system comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Experiencing Craniosacral Therapy

The recipient remains fully clothed throughout the session as the therapist places her hands on or near parts of the body needing attention. Using a soft touch generally no greater than the weight of a nickel, and in partnership with your body’s inner wisdom, the therapist assesses the craniosacral rhythm and provides the opportunity for the release of restrictions in the system according to your body’s needs.

Infant Massage Classes

Infant Massage is a parent education program that seeks to empower parents and foster respect for children.

Infant Massage benefits both children & their parents by…

  • promoting bonding and communication;
  • facilitating relaxation and the release of tension;
  • helping to strengthen and regulate the child’s circulatory, respiratory, and digestive systems;
  • helping to alleviate the symptoms of gas and colic;
  • contributing to healthy growth and development; and
  • promoting deeper, more restful sleep.

Infant Massage is an invaluable resource that parents can draw upon over the years as both they and their children grow.
